Last night, the UNPLUGGED FESTIVAL 2023 was held in Ičići, organized by the Ičići Tourist Board.
It is a festival that came to life in Ičići back in 2017, and the guiding idea was to give visitors the opportunity to "disconnect" from everyday life in one summer evening with a concerts at several points along the beach.
Even a summer rain did not stop the organizers in their preparations, and the evening continued according to the program. Together with the sun, the guests returned to the Ičići beach to enjoy the musical performances.
The festival was open, accessible to all visitors, both tourists and local people, who spent a pleasant evening with the acoustic sounds of the guitar, saxophone and percussion.
Waiting for the main star of the evening, Damir Kedžo, passed with a musical warm-ups at two points.
In front of the Calypso Caffe bar, the NICOLAS KURELIĆ duo wormed up the visitors with a performance on guitar (Nicolas Kurelić) and saxophone (Vedran Mijić).
The duo performed popular foreign hits in an unplugged version and attracted many, who enjoyed not only a drink in the caffe bar, but also a romantic sunset on the beach by the sea. ˝Bésame Mucho˝, ˝Fields of Gold˝, ˝Bille Jean˝, ˝Hit the Road Jack˝ are just some of the hits they performed.
At Cafe Bar Sunset, TAHIR entertained a large audience with his guitar performing compositions by Arsen Dedić, Kemal Monteno, Dino Merlin, Toto Cotogno and many others. Some even sang along with him.
The main event of the evening was the concert of the talented Damir Kedžo, who was welcomed by the audience with great applause. Audience from 7 to 77, enjoyed a fresh summer evening under the lights of Lučica Ičići, while the popular singer performed his hits ˝Srce mi umire za njom˝, ˝Divlji vjetre˝, ˝Vidi se zadaleka˝, ˝Kiss me now ˝ and many others, and a few hits by Oliver Dragojević.
Among the audience were foreign tourists who enjoyed the acoustic performances without caring about the language barrier because the song is a universal language that everyone understands.
A large audience applauded each song, and one loyal fan joined in the performance of the hit song "Sve u meni se budi", in the role of the popular croatian singer Zsa Zsa.
After a two-hour non-stop concert, Kedžo dedicated time to fans who asked for a photo with their beloved singer as a souvenir.
It was truly an evening to remember in the beautiful surroundings of Lučica, Ičići.
